PREPARATION FOR STUDYING AT SCHOOL

GENERAL INFORMATION ON THE GROUP

The beginning of studying at school is an extremely important time for each child, parents and grandparents. The success any child has at school, both in terms of learning, communication with peers, and in terms of psychological comfort, opportunity to open and realize its hidden talents and abilities, affects the child's further independent life.

Many parents are wondering if their child is ready for a new life at school. Can it be as active and cheerful as before in kindergarten or elsewhere? These are logical and topical questions: those children, who go to school without qualified preparation, are usually trapped in a very tough situation. Everything is changing in the child's life from the daily regimen, friends, main activities and external and internal environments. Playing activities are replaced with studies and physical and emotional load is also increasing. A seven year old child has to adapt to all these changes and that requires a lot of efforts. Moreover, children have to master new learning skills and enhance their learning abilities. Studying at school is systematic, so your child can't just leave everything at home, forget about it and go for a walk or do something else, or change activities as in kindergarten. Dear parents, the entrance into the first form is more difficult for the child's organism and mentality than the beginning of new employment. In case a child has some speech abnormalities and is unstable psychologically, it is highly recommended to start preparing for a systematic training in school from the age of 5 years old.

- Developing of fine reading and writing skills;
- Maths with elements of logical analysis;
- Enhancing of fluent speech;
- Development of fine motor skills to get prepared for neat writing;
- Enhancing of cognitive processes (attention focusing, abstract perception, memory, thinking abilities);
- Adaptation to systematic studying at school.

TIME AND FORMAT OF CLASSES

Classes are held individually, in small groups of 2-4 children or in standard groups of 5-8 children. All classes are conducted in the game form, which reduce the children's severe dependence on adults, creating situations of success. The classes are conducted by highly qualified professionals and teachers.

After accomplishing the course, children enter the 1st form being well-prepared to face any difficulties and intensity of studies and learn easily in elementary school as well as during further years.
